The Greatest is gone. Muhammad Ali has passed away from us. Ali was checked into a hospital this week due to a respiratory issue, but was diagnosed 32 years ago with Parkinson's.
Ali owned a 56-5 record in the ring with 37 KOs. What he will be remembered for aside from his time in the ring was all that he did outside of it. Not only an avid civil rights activist, and a converted Muslim, but Ali was a showman in the sense of the word. Think about Conor McGregor. That is the closest representation to anyone we have now. A trash talker, a great one at that, and he also backed it up. The time we live in now would have suited him perfectly. Just imagine if Ali had the outlet of social media! It would never stop.
The world remembers not only the greatest boxer ever, but also a great human. Ali might have passed, but his legacy will outlast us all. Rest in peace, Champ.
