Joe Mixon Can't Run Forever

Uh oh Joe! That sound you hear is your sins running to catch up with you! Earlier today, the Oklahoma Supreme Court did the world a great justice by ruling that the video of Mixon's assault would become public record and everyone could see just how big of a scumbag he is.

For those of you unfamiliar with the situation, Mixon was arrested before his Freshman season at Oklahoma after punching a female student. The punch was so violent that it fractured her jaw, cheek, sinus, and orbital bones. Sounds rough, eh? Yea, Mixon is a piece of garbage. I don't care if you're an 18 year old kid, accountability is a thing and he seemed to skip away from it by serving a one year suspension and then coming back like it was all cool.

Once the video drops, he's ruined. Should I be excited for a 20 year old kid to have his life ruined? Probably not. However, I make exceptions for scumbags and people who are truly idiots. Video changes everything. Don't believe me? Ask Ray Rice how his life changed once the video dropped. He went from a 4 game suspension to blackballed from the entire league. He at least had the decency to apologize, but the damage had been done. How is Mixon's apology going, you ask? About as well as his future prospects. Peace out Joe. Enjoy the life you've made.

Also, keep in mind that his coach (Bob Stoops) and athletic director (Joe Castiglione) saw this video before making their ruling not to kick him out of their school. Food for thought.

All my love,

  1. Question? Do you know Joe Mixon personally? Could Amelia Rae Molitor hitting the table, with her face, actually be what caused all of the broken bones in said face? I would say yes to that question. Is what happened right? No, on both sides of the issue. Should anyone wish ill will on another person, where mistakes were made, and going forward, the only person held accountable (the drunk girl has not been held accountable for anything!) has done nothing but be a respectful, hard working, young man, student, and teammate. Be careful what you wish for other people, karma has a way of coming back to those very people who cast judgement. I hope that you never do something that is completely out of your own character and is then held against you, God only knows, I am sure you all would want a second chance at redemption right? Just "Food for thought"

  2. PS your title of the comments really don't suit the situation, after all Joe Mixon didn't "run" anywhere. He took his punishment like a man and stayed to face whatever was to come. He didn't run and hide.

  3. I don't know either of the two individuals involved. I do not claim to know either of the two individuals involved. Do you? If you do, please give me any excuse possible that could make me not want Mixon to get broke in half on any play he is involved in and I'll give it a listen. The "drunk girl" had her face smashed by the football player and had four bones broken. I feel like him having to sit out only one year and then get to come back and play like nothing ever happened seems quite minor, but what do I know? I pray you aren't as stupid as I'm judging you to be and that you're just a misguided OU alumni. Not too sure you get a chance at redeeming my opinion of you. Thanks for reading though :)

    1. As a matter of fact, I do know Joe. I would say the only reason you should not want him to "get broke in half" is because now you are wishing ill will on someone you know nothing about, and it is just bad karma. He has no past history of anything and since this incident has shown nothing but respect and kindness. But you wouldn't know that because everyone is so interested in judging and wishing him ill will. How about if one of your family members had done that? Would you wish them the same bodily harm? And no I am not a "misguided OU alumni", I am just someone who has probably lived longer than you and knows that there is an ultimate judge and everyone will one day meet their maker. You and I aren't here to judge anyone else no matter what your opinion may be it is just not a good characteristic to wish harm to people. You are bashing Mixon for hurting someone and yet saying it is ok for him to be injured or "broke in half" by someone for his actions. Doesn't make sense to me, but then again, you are probably a "child" and/or an OSU or Texas alumni, but what do I know. At any rate, I am not sure you would be able to redeem yourself in my eyes either. But I don't hope that you make a mistake in your life, because then you would be asking for the same second chance that you refuse to award Joe. Unfortunately, speaking to people that think they know it all is like speaking to a rock. So I won't waste any more of your time or my "breath trying to convince you otherwise. You will learn yourself one day and I hope that the people effected by your actions will forgive you. PS you didn't touch on the fact that it is most probable that the table is what broke her face, but that is just a technicality I am sure you will say. The truth is, had Molitor kept her drunk mouth shut and not called him the n word or spit on him and blown smoke in her face AND pushed and slapped him, she wouldn't have come in contact with his fist or that table. And ps. I have daughters and they have always been taught to keep their hands to themselves, whether a male or female. If you put your hands on someone else, expect to get it back. Period end of story. An individual has no right to touch another individual and then hide behind the "I am a girl, blah blah blah" Now I am finished.

    2. Okay, knowing Mixon makes complete sense. Only a friend or OU alumni could be dumb enough to support a guy who broke 4 bones in a girl's face. With regard to Mixon, the guy is as low as they come in my opinion. He was punished, yes. Was the punishment fair for the crime? Not even close. I'll repeat this again, just so you understand. He punched a girl in the face and broke 4 bones in her face. I don't care if that's your first mistake or fifteenth. Find me any other school in the country that has seen a player punch a female in the face and that player is still on that team. I'll wait.

      Respectfully,
the child who does not like OSU or Texas @corbeech

    3. You have a nice life. You aren't worth the time and energy. I hope you never do anything that will come back to haunt you or your family members. God Bless your little heart.

  4. We'll be able to see more once the video is made public. Hopefully it isn't as destructive as its been made out to look, but if it is, I do hope he does find justice. I also have never thought a player should receive a lifetime ban for one single incident for any reason, but I do hope if it the video shows him breaking a woman's face, he finds justice

    1. i am not sure why anyone would want to see the video? I can imagine what it looks like and I don't need to see it to prove my imagination is right or wrong. The only reason people want to see it is for the drama and hype that surrounds it. Nothing good will come of it, He has paid the price set forth by the courts and OU. He did what was required. The rest is just other schools or alumni wanting to see OU struggle and not do well on the field, and ruin Mixon's life, because God forbid someone get more or do better than what they do! That is the bottom line.

  5. Yep, looks like the scumbag really had no other choice but to knock her out. I can see why you defend him now. Also, he didn't run away. He just turned and exited casually.
